Mircom Acquires Securiplex Inc.
Assets from SNC Lavalin
Toronto, Canada, January, 2005 – Mircom
is very pleased to announce the acquisition of the complete
“PRO-2000 Fire & Gas
Detection and Control System” product line from Securiplex
Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of SNC-Lavalin Group Inc.
The PRO-2000 will be marketed under Mircom’s brand name and will be
available commencing January, 2005.
About the PRO-2000:
The PRO-2000 Fire & Gas Detection and
Control Systems are distributed micro-processor based systems that
provide seamless integration of fire and gas detection within single
or networked control panels. The PRO-2000 integrates the
traditionally autonomous fire detection and PLC based gas detection
functions. These systems are primarily geared for use in highly
sensitive or hazardous environments including LPG plants, aircraft
hangars, power plants, tank farms, offshore oil platforms and naval,
marine and military vessels.
