
Vaughan, ON – The Mircom Group of Companies, a global provider of advanced fire life safety systems and communication products is pleased to announce the release of the enhanced Mircom FX-350 Series Intelligent Fire Alarm Control Panels. Easy to install and simple to operate, the FX-350 panels are powerful enough to meet today’s installation demands for small to medium sized facilities. The FX-350 provides a complete fire control system solution for a variety of applications including, small apartment buildings, schools, restaurants, nursing homes, places of worship, and department stores.
The FX-350 Series has been enhanced to include a single loop 126 point system in a larger enclosure as well as a new three loop 378 point intelligent system. In addition the FX-350 family includes a 60 point system in a smaller enclosure. All FX-350 Series panels are equipped with a user-friendly 2 line by 20 character LCD Display and 4 NAC circuits with built-in synchronization for Wheelock, System Sensor, Amseco, Faraday and Gentex devices.
Some of the major enhancements include:
- Expanded configurable LCD display that permits the user to configure 32 characters on the LCD display for customized messages
- Supports Positive Alarm Sequence (PAS) operation. This is a manually initiated delay in the operation of the fire alarm system for up to 180 seconds to allow for investigation of the alarm signal. The alarm automatically operates if the fire alarm system is not reset prior to the end of the delay period.
- Provision for built-in LED annunciation for alarm and trouble. The new larger FX-350 enclosures support up to 64 zones of LED annunciation. This is ideal for jurisdictions that require LED annunciation.
The FX-350 Series Intelligent Fire Alarm Control Panels are listed by UL (Underwriters Laboratories), ULC (Underwriters Laboratories of Canada), California State Fire Marshall (CSFM) and the City of Chicago (Class I applications).
