Norma Kinitz (Mircom Vaughan) and her three sisters will all be once again participating in The Weekend to End Breast Cancer in Toronto on Sept. 6 & 7/08. The Weekend to End Breast Cancer is a 60-kilometre walk through the streets of Toronto over the course of one weekend with thousands of other people raising funds for breast cancer awareness and research.
They are doing this to help in the fight against breast cancer. We all know someone who has been touched by this disease and they want to help in the fight to find a cure of this terrible disease that tears families apart. “It’s an amazingly rewarding experience to be involved in something so huge. Once you have experienced it, you want to do it again.” This is their third year participating.
Millions of dollars are raised each year towards research and early diagnosis in order to prevent the disease and save lives.
Each walker must raise a minimum of $2,000. If you would like to donate, just go to www.endcancer.ca and search Norma Kinitz (under the Toronto walk) for donation instructions.
