Vaughan, ON – Mircom, a global provider of advanced fire life safety systems and communication products is pleased to announce the launch of the FleX-Net™ Series Network Fire Alarm Control Panels. With its sophisticated system performance, FleX-Net complies with the latest requirements of fire equipment codes and standards, including U.L. (864 Version 9 Edition) and features near instant alarm processing and Boolean logic.
“The new FleX-Net™ Series is designed to establish Mircom as a major player against key competitive fire alarm manufacturers with networking capabilities.” said Tony Falbo, President, Mircom Group. “It is built on the proven and reliable FX-2000 platform and utilizes a large number of existing components to provide an advanced networking system.”
The FleX-Net™ Series Network Fire Alarm Control Panels offer modular components to meet a wide variety of applications. Designed for peer-to-peer network communications, the FleX-Net™ Series allows for a maximum of 63 nodes, while providing reliability, flexibility and expandability.
The FleX-Net™ Series also provides integrated multi-channel audio that allows for emergency paging and simultaneous broadcasting of messages throughout a facility. The integrated audio system allows for audio evacuation, paging and firefighter’s telephones. The FleX-Net™ Series also makes possible differentiation of alarm and alert channels by node, while maintaining common paging channels by system.
The FleX-Net™ system unites multiple intelligent control panels into one system. All the control panels operate independently but respond as one cohesive system. The 5-loop panels allow for enhanced survivability by limiting communication loss in the event of a specific node failure. The network capabilities allow site specific customization and the ability to meet local, regional and national requirements.
