Q. Visitors cannot place calls to residents. Why?

A. If the problem is consistent with every resident, there may be a problem with the telephone line. Check the telephone line with a regular telephone for a dial tone. If the dial tone is not present contact your local telephone company. If the problem is consistent for one resident only, the resident’s telephone number may be programmed incorrectly. Check the programming to confirm that the resident’s telephone number and area code are entered correctly.
