What are the differences between the various TX 3 offerings / models?

Entry Panel Enclosures

There are three sizes of lobby unit enclosures. The Universal Series for scrolling entry panel units designed for outdoor use and the Continental Series, which is a larger stainless steel scrolling entry panel unit designed for indoor use and the third size is a Slim-Line Universal for scrolling entry panel which is narrower and taller than the Universal and Continental series and designed for indoor use.

Universal Panels

The Universal entry/lobby units are surface mounted. Optional flush trim rings are available for semi-flush and flush installations. A rain hood is included allowing for outdoor use.

Model TX3-1000-8U Stainless steel finish entry panel with speaker and microswitch for postal lock, comes with a 1000 name main controller board, 8x20 LCD display, and one PS-4P transformer plug. Designed for outdoor applications.

Model TX3-2000-8U Stainless steel finish entry panel with speaker and microswitch for postal lock, comes with a 2000 name main controller board, 8x20 LCD display, and one PS-4P transformer plug. Designed for outdoor applications.

Model TX3-UFT Universal Flush mounting trim for use with TX3-200-8U, TX3-1000-8U and TX3-2000-8U. Stainless steel.

Model TX3-USFT Universal Slim-Line Flush mounting trim for TX3-200-4U. Stainless steel.

Continental Panels

The Continental entry panels are flush mounted and for indoor use only.
