If the TAS-2000 is configured as an ADC, then the normal stand-by telephone line voltage (Tip & Ring) should be between 45-52 Volts DC. If the telephone line voltage drops below 25VDC, the system will display “Line is busy please wait”.
Measure the telephone line voltage; if the line is below 25VDC, remove the telephone line from the system and measure the voltage across the telephone line.
If the voltage is still below 25Volts DC, the telephone line is either being shared by another user or the telephone line is faulty. If the telephone line voltage measures between 45-52 Volts DC, replace the TAS-2000 main board.
If the TAS-2000 is configured as NSL; the lobby panel is not communicating with the 2008M relay cabinet. Check the programming mode to ensure the NSL ID is programmed to the same address number as the 2008M relay cabinet.
