Products may be discontinued for a number of reasons:
- The product may be replaced by another product / newer version.
- The product may no longer be viable in the market.
- Changes to regulations may mean that the product could not be sold today in it's initial configuration.
- The product may have some critical components become obsolete, meaning suppliers no longer manufacture the parts and replacement parts are either not available or a redesign of the product is not feasible.
Mircom will attempt to support and/or service any product it has manufactured. After being out of production for an extended period of time, the product will be classified as obsolete and the majority of the support functions will be transfered to this technical support forum.
In this forum you can search for all the information that was initially published or subsequently utilised to provide technical support.
Where possible we will post any available documentation (Schematics, the User's Guide, Data Sheet, etc.) and links to any other support resources we are aware of.
