The Mircom Group is a full service life safety communications and security company which offers products under three distinguished brands – Mircom, Secutron and Summit. Our Mircom and Secutron products are distributed via our branch offices in both Canada and the United States, and through Engineered Systems Distributors (ESDs) across North America and worldwide. The Mircom Group has customers in over 50 countries around the globe, and we’re growing!

Mircom has a long tradition in the fire and life safety industry with corporate roots dating back to the 1960’s. We consistently strive to develop and introduce new product offerings and services that meet and exceed the ongoing needs of our markets and customers.
Our solutions satisfy the needs of the multi and high rise residential, industrial and commercial applications, and new construction and retrofit markets. Mircom and Secutron solutions are perfect for healthcare, government, and educational facilities as well. Our PRO-2000 line has been installed in major projects throughout the world; including airports, metro/subway systems and in extreme environments such as military ships, oil and gas refineries, and power generation stations.
One of our key strengths is our Research and Development team. We are proud of our dedicated and professional team of engineers who deliver systems that meet the strict approvals required by regulatory bodies such as Underwriters Laboratories (UL/ULC), Factory Mutual (FM), California State Fire Marshal (CSFM), City of New York (MEA), and City of Chicago. Our multiple product lines allow us to quickly integrate strengths of a specific product across our entire family to consistently offer the top level of quality and protection that facilities requires.
Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, The Mircom Group of Companies operates from a state of the art facility. Executive management works together with our plant managers, engineers, and front line staff to respond quickly to customer needs. We are a customer-focused Company that thinks globally and acts locally, avoiding the bureaucracy and frustration that can often result from dealing with less flexible enterprises. While many manufacturers offer fire as an “add-on” solution to their featured product lines, it is our focus and what we specialize in. To ensure you can work easily with us wherever you are, The Mircom Group of Companies has established a distributor network with dealers that are specially trained in the use, installation and servicing of our products. Additionally, Mircom has branch offices in major metropolitan cities throughout Canada and we’re growing in the United States, India, and the rest of the world. In 2008 we unveiled a new distribution center and training facility in Niagara Falls, N.Y. and have also opened three factory owned support offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco, California, and Chicago, Illinois. We are also proud of our international sell direct office based in Bangalore, India, in operation since 2007.
